The Jagiellonian Library is the main library of the Jagiellonian University. Its activities are integrated into the University's strategy and operations, and it creatively and effectively supports the realization of the University’s mission and goals by providing modern and user-oriented library and information services based on the best international practices, professional expertise, and scholarly knowledge.

At the same time, by virtue of its role in Poland, its unique and valuable collections, its developed information services, and the competence of its staff, it serves the wider local, national, and international community, as well as contributes to the development of library science knowledge and practice, the preservation of cultural heritage, and the scientific legacy for future generations.
