The trial databases are available from any computer belonging to the Jagiellonian University network without logging in. Readers of the Jagiellonian Library can use them at computer workstations in the Reference Reading Room, the European Reading Room, the Research Reading Room and the Main Reading Room, upon presentation of a valid library card.

Trial accesses to databases and teaching support products provided by the Medical Library of the Jagiellonian University - Collegium Medicum are available on the website of the Medical Library of the Jagiellonian University.
The Jagiellonian Library has been granted a three-month trial access to an extensive collection of e-books from De Gruyter publishers.
The trial will run from February 1st to April 30th, 2024.
The collection, which covers the social sciences and humanities, the natural and exact sciences and technology, includes over 160,000 e-books published by De Gruyter and its partner publishers, including the University Press Library (e-books from the world’s most prestigious university presses, such as Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Yale, and Edinburgh).
The e-books are DRM-free, allowing simultaneous access from anywhere at any time with no limit on the number of saved pages.
Founded in 1749, De Gruyter is renowned for its high standard of academic publishing. As an independent academic publisher, it publishes over 1,500 books and 16,000 journal articles each year in 30 subject areas. This includes more than 200 books and 6,000 articles in open access. It also offers around 80 databases and online reference works, covering an extremely wide range of disciplines.
