On Monday, December 18th, 2023, a new platform of the JU Libraries Catalogue will be launched: the explorUJ multi-search engine involving new functionalities. It will constitute an enhanced way of access to the databases of scholarly literature purchased by the Jagiellonian Library for the University community as well as those in open access.

explorUJ allows patrons to get to the needed books and journals, and most importantly, directly to individual journal articles, if they are available in full text. It can be done from each computer belonging to the UJ network or from any external computer after logging in using the personal university mail address and the password to this mail account.

We make every effort to ensure high quality of the tools offered and provide the members of our University community with the widest possible range of materials for their research and teaching activities. The explorUJ platform is a great improvement as compared to the current JU Libraries Catalogue. It is a modern aid to facilitate coping with an ever-increasing number of Polish and foreign digital resources, while the new search range "Online Resources" allows for direct searching millions of scholarly materials from all over the world.
