ZABYTEK.PL database

ZABYTEK.PL database

The ZABYTEK.PL website provides information on Polish monuments in an advanced way, including their descriptions, photos, spectacular digital resources (such as 3D models, point clouds, panoramas), as well as their precise location (through integration with a map portal). Its practical search engine allows for comprehensive browsing of resources: searching by category (Historic Monuments, archaeological sites, monuments from the UNESCO World Heritage List, etc.), function (churches, residential buildings, castles, gords, burial mounds, etc.), name (e.g. dedication of churches or proper names of objects) or administrative affiliation (e.g. monuments in Zielona Góra), narrowing the search down to specific time periods or using the time axis. The COLLECTIONS and TRIPS tabs are helpful in planning sightseeing tours of monuments. The website is managed by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage.
