NOTE
The functioning of the Jagiellonian Library in the present mode.Collections available:
- Manuscripts and typescripts held in the JL
- Manuscripts from the former Prussian State Library in Berlin, kept in the JL
- The Reading Room reference library, consisting mainly of catalogues of the manuscripts held both in Polish and foreign libraries, as well as of specialist publications, e.g. in the fields of manuscriptology and codicology, whose shelfmarks begin with "Oddz. Rękop."
- Catalogues of the manusripts held in the JL:
- Printed catalogue of manuscript accessions from 1945 to 2000 (available in the Reading Room)
- Card catalogue of the diplomas kept in the JL (available in the Reading Room)
- Digital catalogue of manuscript aquisitions from 1945 to 1960 and since 2001
- Alphabetical and systematic card catalogues of the reference library
Terms of use:
- A valid reader pass. Readers without the Ph.D. degree should present a recommendation letter from their supervisor or from the research institution they work for, in order to have the right to use the manuscript collection.
