The functioning of the Jagiellonian Library in the present mode



Available collections:

  • Reference books whose shelfmarks begin with "Oddz. Graf.", "Oddz. Kartogr."
  • Aphabetical and subject card catalogues of the reference library
  • Card catalogues of albums, woodcuts and etchings, drawings, photographs, maps and atlases
  • Books and journals printed after 1800 (except for sizes IV and V), requested from the General Stack Room
  • Graphic and maps collections (albums, woodcuts and etchings, drawings, photographs, maps and atlases)
  • The Internet

Terms of use

Undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as members of research and culture institutions, in possession of a recommendation letter from their supervisor or institution mentioning the subject of their research. Such a letter should be approved either by the Head of the Special Collections Department or by the Deputy Director for Collections. A reader obtains the right to use the collection after filling in the Reader's Declaration Form.
