Exhibition: 'Archie Granot Papercuts'

JU Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science and the Jagiellonian Library invite you to attend the opening of an exhibition of works by Archie Granot, an Israeli paper cut artist, which will be held in the Exhibition Room at the Library until 16 July.

Exhibition - "Life is beautiful... and I praise it myself"

At the exhibition are presented works of Kazimierz Wiśniak, from the first works arisen during Scenography Study at the Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in Kraków, ending with the last so far, painted in 2016. Kazimierz Wiśniak - scenographer, painter, illustrator, graphic designer, co-founder of the Piwnica pod Baranami.

On the 28th of October from 8.00 p.m. to 11 p.m. the Main Reading Room will be changed into genuine cinema hall! In the unique atmosphere you will be able to enjoy the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, directed by Miloš Forman in 1975, based on the novel by Ken Kesey.
