The exhibition of drawings and artistic books is inspired by the works of the excellent Irish poet and a Nobel Prize winner in literature, Seamus Heaney. The exhibition includes files of drawings, miniature books and sets of ink drawings. The whole is a loosely composed, multi-element space installation.

The ink drawings are interpretations of the poet's world, reflections on time, rays of light moving across surfaces; they record life events metaphorically depictes as cracks. They also allude to the noble simplicity of the poetry of Seamus Heaney as well as to the subjects of that poetry, i.e. to the accolade of everyday life and to the stories about ordinary people. The dramaturgy of these drawings consists in the contrast between black and white as well as in the passage of light through thick shade.

The miniature books are made of grey paper. Cardboard bindings are covered in black paint which reveals pictorial structures, impastos, and even marks of tools. The rough and ordinary character of the chosen materials remains in contrast with the elegance of the fonts in which the poems have been typed. The installation was made from 2013 to 2015.
