​The exhibition presents the celebrations related to the 500th anniversary of the revival of the Krakow Academy (1400-1900).

The exhibition "Krakow and the Jagiellonian University on postcards from 100 years ago" is on show in the main hall of the Jagiellonian Library. The exhibition presents the celebrations related to the 500th anniversary of the revival of the Krakow Academy (1400-1900). At that time, several dozen rectors and professors from all European and three American universities came to the former capital of the non-existent State. The exhibition also shows the Krakow of that time, which was seen by outstanding guests from other annected parts of Poland and from other countries. The author of the exhibition is professor Aleksander Skotnicki. The exhibition was arranged by Maciej Zborek, en employee of the Archives of the Jagiellonian University. The exhibition will be on display until October 2 this year.
